A new milestone: 4K

I achieved the 3K milestone one month ago, and today I ran 4 Km in the morning, which is my new longest run. My average pace was around 6:39/km, and I completed the run in 27:26. Now my plan for April is to maintain this distance and gradually improve my pace, I am aiming to complete 4K in 25 minutes by the end of the April. I know I can do that with regular practice.

Purchased new shoes for running

Bought new shoes ASICS 5B, I like them, they’re comfortable to run in. I am now running in the mornings as I am back in college, but I am still running 3K because it is so hard to take classes and run daily. Also, my nutrition is not on point right now, so I am being careful with the intensity of my runs as I don’t want to get injured in the middle of the semester.

I also strength train twice a week, which is enough for me right now.

UPDATE: Running and Website

Two days ago I reached 3K mark. Now I can run 3K, not so comfortably daily. The shin splints are also gone, I am also lifting weight every 2 days. I have also made some changes in my diet like I am eating fewer carbs, more protein and no sugar. I can definitely feel the changes physically and mentally.
