This post is going to be the longest one I’ve ever published. If you don’t know what Linux is, then here’s the brief introduction:
Linux is an operating system just like windows and macos which helps to run software on your computer.
I started using Linux when I was in high school or during the COVID lockdown. Because man needed something to keep himself busy.
I discovered a lot of things after shifting my workflow to Linux. The first thing I noticed is that it is a buggy mess. Everything in the Linux world is unpolished and inconsistent. You have to know a lot of things to do simple tasks, and the settings app is just painful to use.I’ve tried many distros, but my favourite is Linux Mint. I can definitely say that it is the only distro which you can use without needing to know much. I had a great experience with it, even better than windows.
Alas, I am back to Windows as I need native MS Office tools which aren’t available on Linux and I don’t want to waste any more time. However, if I ever need to use Linux again, Linux Mint will be my first choice.
